Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the overall strategy of project management and project control, and develop best-in-class regulations, standards, procedures and processes for managing capital projects, including operational processes, transactional procedures, governance, monitoring and other internal controls.
  • Oversee project delivery governance mechanism to ensure strong frameworks and controls are in place to provide effective oversight on project management delivery and control.
  • Proactively recommend continuous improvement strategies and mitigate potential risks and / or issues through corrective actions within project management and control procedures, and processes to promote overall effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including government entities, Al Dar, regulators and other service providers to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with government aspirations.
  • Provide guidance and advisory to Strategic Projects & Controls teams on managing capital projects’ and resolve any related issues between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Proven working experience in Government and / or Government related entities with a track-record leading the delivery of project management advice to Executive Leadership, government entities, and relevant parties.
  • Familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices and procedures across the different project portfolios.
  • Knowledgeable in the overall project management processes which includes initiation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting and familiar with robust suite of project management tools.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is an advantage.
