Key Accountabilities
  • Provide advisory to translate the Security , Safety & Justice-related vision, strategy and policies to government-wide agenda, plans and programmes for theSecurity , Safety & Justice sector
  • Partner with government entities and champion innovative thinking to guide the development initiatives which are future focused and are responsive to global & local market changes; provide advisory for implementation of related to Security, Safety & Justice policies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the government entities and influence decision making to accelerate the achievement of the department’s plans, initiatives and outcomes
  • Review requests from government entities and apply a systems thinking approach to analyze the impact and adjacencies in order to build holistic recommendations for a coordinated development of the sector
  • Spearhead the sector development, innovation and technology adoption by building strategic partnerships drive the achievement of Security , Safety & Justice programs goals & the aspirations
  • Assess sector performance and provide updates to relevant sub-committees; partner with relevant departments such as Strategy & Policy Lab, to share feedback and corrective action plans for the sector
  • Drive operational excellence and integrate best practices to improve outcomes and proactively manage the department’s performance, risks and challenges
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience in managing management at government entities
  • Experience dealing with complexity, policy execution and policy trade-offs
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of strategy and policy directions to plans and programmes
  • Experience leading teams of highly skilled specialists and consultants
  • Significant exposure to Public sector planning and execution is an advantage
