Key Accountabilities
  • Design department’s operational charter and develop Procurement & Supply Management strategy, annual planning process, internal control frameworks, ESG metrics, and key performance metrics
  • Provide strategic and technical advisory in procurement, contract and vendor management, process improvement and optimization, and supply chain strategizing to ensure continuous service excellence across the department’s core services
  • Lead the formulation of sustainable procurement strategies through the incorporation of Environment, Social and Governance framework and establish key practices to operationalize the strategy to bring about sustainable outcomes for ADEO
  • Partner and counsel ADEO’s leadership team to facilitate decision making related to ADEO’s procurement and supply management priorities and processes, vendor and contract management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as digital transformation using new methodologies, and mitigate potential vendor or contractual risks through governance and monitoring frameworks, as well as corrective actions to achieve optimum effectiveness to enable improved service delivery standards
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience in leading a team of procurement & supply management professionals of varying levels, includes establishing directions and goals for the department
  • Experience in leading successful implementation of procurement transformation initiatives
  • Broad technical expertise with strong data orientation to challenge, influence and advise on procurement decisions
  • Experience with senior level engagements / stakeholder management
  • Experience in ESG integration is an advantage
