Key Accountabilities
  • Drive and define the Abu Dhabi government performance management agenda to develop a robust performance management framework including tracking KPIs and performance parameters to improve transparency, accountability and build a performance culture within the government
  • Lead the Performance Management team by providing guidance, supervision and mentorship to team members. Deepen capacity and capability of the team to improve level of performance management expertise within the Department
  • Oversee performance evaluation and track progress of high priority programs and initiatives. Provide advisory to senior leadership by highlighting performance issues to maintain momentum, flag concerns, and recommend interventions to drive results and successful program implementation
  • Lead creation of digital dashboards for tracking and real-time monitoring.
  • Partner closely with concern stakeholders Acceleration Delivery Unit to drive synergies between departments, highlight and identify projects or programs which are not progressing as planned
  • Lead the design and implementation of the Excellence Award, and oversee the implementation of other internal awards managed by other Abu Dhabi government entities
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Experience in driving government performance & transformation or analytical role helping teams apply a range of techniques to analyze data and provide insight
  • Experience of carrying out regular management reporting, including commissioning data, analysing results and summarizing and reporting results
  • Proven working experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Significant exposure to Public sector planning and execution is an advantage
