Key Accountabilities
  • Advise on policy and program design through the application of behavioral science principles to articulate behavioral outcomes of policy, design and communication challenges, articulate complex policy objectives in behavioral terms and diagnose barriers to desired behaviors
  • Apply a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to conduct systematic research and study research subjects; Use outcomes from the research to inform decision making and design of alternatives that will be aligned to the users’ needs as well as Abu Dhabi’s aspirations.
  • Spearhead and develop new and innovative research methods and techniques related to behavioral science to solve policy problems and challenges across the multiple domains of Economic, Wellbeing and People & Future of Government
  • Engage actively with leaders with ADEO and identified entities to influence and guide on the value created using behavioral science insights
  • Serve as a technical consultant/expert on committees and projects to promote knowledge sharing on Behavioral Insights and User Centric Design
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Significant experience of applying behavioral thinking to communication and policy design challenges in a Government context
  • Experience of independently leading complex behavioral projects and programs
  • Experience building capability to apply behavioral science principles
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of vision and aspirations into policy directions
  • Significant exposure to Public sector policy planning is an advantage
