Key Accountabilities
  • Drive and coordinate ADEO’s policy lab agenda to develop and review Education & Government of the Future policies in Abu Dhabi; critically analyze policies in the context of complex systems to highlight gaps, develop insights and recommend solutions to inform policy and programme design and implementation
  • Apply the framework for policymaking that applies data-driven, design and technology-based approach and analysis to identify emerging issues and trends, distill insights to develop / review the Economics policies as well as define KPIs for policy evaluation
  • Collaborate with other senior members of the Policy Lab department to develop standards of excellence for innovative policy design and strengthen capacity and capability of the team
  • Synergize efforts with Strategy, Future Foresight and Government Operations departments to formulate and review policies addressing complex issues and provide data-driven advisory to senior stakeholders on all matters related to Education and Government of the Future policies and achieve alignment with the overall Vision and Aspiration
  • Influence senior stakeholders to communicate the policies and build coalition to drive successful implementation
  • Engage partners such as industry practitioners, institutes of higher learning and think tanks to conduct outreach and consultations on Education & Government of the Future issues
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Substantial experience and relevant qualifications in the field of government transformation and education policies
  • Experience in public policy design and evaluation
  • Experience in behavioral science is preferred
  • Experience dealing with complexity, arbitrating strategy and policy trade-offs and complementarities
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of vision and aspirations into policy directions
