Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the communications strategy, plans and protocols for the Chairman’s Office to advance ADEO’s identity, profile and reputation while increasing visibility of priorities across key stakeholders and local and international audiences
  • Collaborate and work closely with relevant stakeholders to shape the intended communication impact through oversight on the development / preparation of memos, materials, speeches, briefings, reports, and other documents that enable the Chairman to effectively manage communications and address diverse audiences
  • Establish and maintain processes, standards, and guidelines for the department to manage the consistency in execution of communications procedures and continuous enhancement of protocols.
  • Actively engage and cultivate relationships with targeted, high-level audiences and key stakeholders to understand challenges and / or emerging issues within ADEO and related entities, identify internal and external communications opportunities and support design of appropriate communications efforts.
  • Manage the scheduled appearances and provide oversight on the related protocols and communications of events or campaigns hosted by the Chairman’s Office to continuously improve on its effectiveness, including the creation and distribution of communications materials.
  • Oversee the logistics and security of assigned communications-related programs and high exposure events, such as conferences, panels, and interviews, to ensure smooth coordination of activities and enforcement of necessary standards or procedures.
  • Direct and oversee the responses to special and / or critical requests from citizens, such as those with high impact to AD priorities or other concerns raised by high profile stakeholders.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Proven working experience in Government and / or Government related entities with a track-record in a communications role within a Chairman’s Office and providing advice to Executive Leadership, government entities, and relevant parties.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, comprehensive strategic communications, media relations and protocols for high-level audiences.
  • Strong working knowledge in communications planning and content development, including writing, editing and production of formal materials (e.g., memos, briefings, reports, etc.).
