Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development and implementation of future-focused regional growth strategies and development programs to augment socioeconomic development prospects across the regions of Abu Dhabi.
- Act as a trusted advisor and counsel on regional trends, challenges, issues and expectations to support the development of regional policies and programs, ensuring that policies are effectively implemented across all regions.
- Provide strategic oversight for execution of programs and initiatives and establish centralized impact assessment frameworks to monitor effectiveness of community development policies / programs / initiatives.
- Set the direction for research and studies to identify world-class regional growth strategies, to drive the adoption of leading regional program, initiatives and policies.
- Formulate and execute strategic engagement and outreach frameworks to build strategic partnerships with community partners across the ecosystem and drive concerted efforts for nationally coordinated programs / initiatives
- Oversee the implementation of Youth Council strategy and plans, providing guidance on outreach programs and platforms to broaden of the council across Abu Dhabi regional.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Proven working experience in Government and / or Government related entities with a successful track-record representing or working in direct partnership with community-based groups.
- Experience in community advocacy and community engagement an advantage
- Experience building high level partnerships and coalitions with high level of diplomacy.
- Strong working knowledge in regional programme and policy development, including strong skills in communicating advocacy goals and messages to diverse stakeholders.
- Exposure to Youth work would be an advantage
