Key Accountabilities
  • Initiate and manage capital projects’ contracting strategies and administration and build capabilities to provide technical support to government entities and Programme and Project Managers on contractual project matters.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external project stakeholders e.g., project owners, Programme and Project Managers to have a comprehensive understanding of the project and direct the preparation of pre- and post-award contract documents, and full contract administration and closeout.
  • Lead and provide guidance on effectively managing and reviewing project contract variation orders, owner directed changes, dispute resolutions and claims to ensure that the interests of project owners and ADEO are maximized and protected.
  • Develop standard procedures, guides and templates related to Tendering and Contracting activities based on best practices, and plan and conduct training sessions and / or knowledge sharing initiatives for government entities to create awareness and build their capabilities.
  • Actively maintain an updated contracts list and monitor contract utilization and compliance, and prepare periodic reports to highlight issues, areas of concerns or lessons learned to relevant stakeholders.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Proven working experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects with direct contract management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge in understanding design and construction deliverables including but not limited to goods, services, and activities required per contract language.
