Key Accountabilities
  • Shape and lead the team’s policy design agenda by driving the development of innovative approaches , using design, data and digital tools to design policy around the lived experiences of those affected
  • Work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and conduct user research; leverage data science insights, design thinking and user-centric insights to create prototypes and enable policies which are human centric and fit-for-purpose
  • Spearhead the creation and testing of prototypes in policy delivery environment, organize workshops and “sprints” with ADEO and across relevant entities to share and explore insights and generate new solutions
  • Proliferate the use of Design Thinking and other methodologies across ADEO and related entities by defining standards, toolkits and trainings and promoting new ways of working
  • Engage actively with leaders with ADEO and related entities to influence and advise regarding Policy Design thinking
  • Leverage public and private partnerships to promote knowledge sharing and build networks; represent ADEO in international panels to enable knowledge exchange and provide expert opinions on Policy Design.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Extensive design experience in design-led organizations or policy think tanks
  • Experience bringing new approaches to complex policy challenges
  • Experience in social research and insight, e.g., quantitative survey execution, qualitative methods
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of vision and aspirations into policy directions
  • Significant exposure to Public sector policy planning
