Key Accountabilities
  • Develop research, insights and recommendations on generating sources of non-oil revenues for the government in collaboration with relevant government entities and the DOF.
  • Assess current public financing and investments of Abu Dhabi wealth and provide recommendations on the alternate forms of public financing and investments to optimize Abu Dhabi and National financial position, reserves and wealth.
  • Engage with the senior leadership to monitor and review the Alternate Investment strategy and ensure that they are aligned to the overall government strategy.
  • Oversee the development of plan and roadmap for the revenue optimization and alternate Investments and oversee the implementation and roll-out of solutions as well as drive adoption and communication plans to increase adoption across the organization.
  • Lead development of Government Finance strategy by receiving insights from the budgeting, revenue generation activities and financial efficiency and ensure that they are in line with the overall government strategy.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
  • Prior work experience in government or government related entities and experience working with Department of finance directly or indirectly.
  • Broad understanding of the overall economy outlook and development of Abu Dhabi as well as its non-oil revenue sources.
  • Experience in leading a team of financial analyst and experts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and inter-personal skills
