Key Accountabilities
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and making recommendations on the budget cycle and ensure its aligned with DOF processes.
- Develop data-driven insights related to diversified revenue sources, public financing and investment options to government entities to optimize the Emirate’s and national financial position, reserves and wealth.
- Manage the government finances and budgets through ensuring they are in compliance with international standards, local regulations and best practices
- Oversee the development of sustainable finance practices within the department in line with the global trends and practices to enhance value creation and contribute towards Abu Dhabi Sustainable Finance Agenda.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Experience in leading a team of finance professionals in the government department.
- Experience in strategic budgeting and capital management; possesses knowledge in financial modeling.
- Broad understanding of the overall economy outlook and development of Abu Dhabi as well as its revenue sources.
- Experience with senior level engagements / stakeholder management.
- Experience in ESG integration is an advantage.
