Key Accountabilities
- Lead the incubation of new and innovative functions in ADEO to elevate strategic outcomes and achieve Abu Dhabi’s aspirations.
- Oversee the development of the methodologies, toolkits and capability development programmes to build foresight education across ADEO and Abu Dhabi Government.
- Assess current scenarios for efficiency and leads the design of the future scenarios for Abu Dhabi using strategic foresight to anticipate, understand and navigate emerging trends, technologies and challenges.
- Lead the engagement with external experts, think tanks and other organizations to conduct knowledge sharing and to bring the outside thinking to the foresight work.
- Collaborate with other senior members of the Future Foresight department to develop standards of excellence for innovative function design and strengthen capacity and capability of the team.
- Synergize efforts with Strategy, Future Foresight and Government Operations departments to formulate and review scenarios addressing complex issues and provide data-driven advisory.
Preferred Experience And Exposure
- Substantial experience and relevant qualifications in the field of foresighting.
- Experience in developing the foresight education Programs.
- Experience in behavioral science is preferred.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders to facilitate translation of vision and aspirations into strategic directions.
- Experience leading teams of highly skilled experts, scientists and consultants
